Maybe I’m Learning
My blood sugar reading today was 98.
I got up early and went to the Fremont Y Wellness Center to work out. For some reason my left knee was a little sore today, after several days of no pain at all. I did 35 minutes of cardio at a good pace, but when I finished with the treadmill I felt like if I pushed any more today I would end up like two weeks ago when my knee ached for four days. I burned 432.1 calories in 35 minutes, or 12.35 calories per minute, and called it good for today.
Not pushing it today means I will be able to work out again tomorrow. Maybe I’m learning. Thanks for stopping by.

Maybe you ARE learning! Glad you didn’t push and re-injure that knee.
Two weeks ago I was out running around, and realized I was hungry. So I got a cup of soup and a roll at the grocery store food bar. Hour or so later I realized I was really thirsty, and I stayed thirsty all that night. Two days later I happened to be near the store again, so I went inside and asked if they had a contents list for their soups. (I’m mentioning this because you said you often have soup and salad form lunch?) The soup I had eaten had something like 3000mg of salt per serving — at least twice what I normally eat in an entire day! So now I’m guessing that’s probably the case with a lot of soups you eat out. Said this to my mother-in-law, who said “Of course it does! That’s why it tastes so good.” Sigh…
